Collaboration  example : IKEA, 25 Years in China

In 2023, Wenzang partnered with IKEA to celebrate its 25th Anniversary in China through a limited‑edition collection, showcased in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Chengdu. Inspired by the traditional Chinese cloud motif, the series blends cultural heritage with Nordic design.

To celebrate IKEA’s 25th Anniversary in China, Wenzang had the privilege of collaborating with IKEA on a limited‑edition anniversary collection. Drawing on our expertise in traditional Chinese patterns, especially the cloud motif—a symbol of auspiciousness and prosperity—we guided IKEA’s Nordic designers in blending this cultural heritage with their minimalist aesthetic.

The result was a unique series that combines cultural depth with contemporary elegance. Beyond product innovation, this collaboration aimed to bring traditional Chinese patterns into modern everyday life,  and convey a positive vision: “Celebrating Everyday Life
